Finca Emendis has 48 hectares of vineyards in clay soils, poor in organic matter, limestones and high magnesium component that gives our wines the acidity necessary to enjoy the freshness in white and sparkling wines and to provide good structure raising red wines.  Wines and cavas are produced exclusive from the grapes harvested in the estate vineyards.  The estate has 12 different varieties of vineyards. White grapes: Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada, Chardonnay, Muscat de Alexandria and Muscat Frontignac.  Red grapes: Tempranillo and Merlot more than 35 years, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, the experimental variety Marselan and Monastrell.  Emendis applies the integrated viticulture: it respects and coexists with the flora and fauna of the environment and is constantly aware of the climate changes that may affect the vine.  The vineyards are grown individually adapted to the specific needs of each variety.  For example, in the vineyards of Xarel·lo it is holds a long pruning while Chardonnay brings a better quality grapes when he takes a short pruning.
