Pamplin Family Winery was founded to pursue a singular goal – to craft the very best Bordeaux varietal red wines from the top vineyards in the State of Washington.  The vision for this winery is a collaborative effort of Bob Pamplin and his son-in-law Art North, who both share a passion for great wine.  This is a family-owned and operated winery, dedicated to handcrafting superior quality wines through uncompromising attention to detail in the vineyards and winery.  Winery is devoted in their focus to present only the finest wines for you to enjoy with your family and friends.  Winemaker Robert Henry was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York.  His first career was in the pharmaceutical industry as a research chemist.  Before graduation, Robert decided that Cabernet Sauvignon would be the focus of his career and, more specifically, Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon.  But he first took a detour to hone his craft at Pahlmeyer Winery in Napa Valley, helping make one of the finest new world interpretations of a Bordeaux blend.
