Since the establishment in 1928 the winery Peter Zemmer has been producing top-quality wines on finest estates in and around Cortina in Alto Adige - South Tyrol. Peter Zemmer’s precious experience, detailed and innovative knowledge together with the perfect natural environment guarantees the quality and the expressive character of the wines, in harmony with the surrounding nature. The expressive character of the wines is formed in the vineyard. Intensive nurturing of the grapevines as well as the careful selection are the essential prerequisites for the authentic wines. Peter Zemmer winery covers its entire energy requirement with renewable energy. Electricity is generated through the use of photovoltaic panels on an area of 400 square meters on the roofs of the vineyard. Peter Zemmer does not only set new standards in terms of sustainability with his natural viticulture but also with his unique energy concept producing emission-free, noiseless, and efficient electricity.
